Black Magic, Baby is a magical fantasy novella about Carter Warren, a magical young girl with a story to tell.

While most 10 year olds would ecstatic to return to summer camp, Carter is not most 10 year olds. A small, cautious girl, all Carter wants is to disappear; away from overbearing counselors, her family’s legacy, and questions about what happened last summer.

Things start looking up when Carter meets Mateo, who shares the rules of Black Magic with her. But when a prank goes wrong, Carter — and all of a Camp Henry Summit — change forever.
